I got to go to DC for a business trip and got to see the normal touristy stuff. I couldn't take pics during the lobbying, but got to see some pretty interesting stuff in the committee meetings during markups/amendments for energy bills going through. Mccain was hilarious on the senate side. They had a nice back and forth going that ended up with Mccain walking out. Here is some pic goodness.

I grew up just south of D.C. The museums in that town are just fucking awesome. Our field trips where awesome. When I moved to GA and went to our museums and zoos I just fucking laughed.

My D.C. trip was fun as hell too. I really wish my group stayed there for more then a day, but I enjoyed the limited time I was there.

The last time I was there the WWII memorial hadn't been built yet. It looks like it turned out pretty nice.
