Default Speaking of zombies..

Have you seen the series on the History Channel, "Life after people?"

It is really cool! It shows the progression of the planet after there are no humans to maintain the buildings, roads, etc. I have it DVR'd - last night Kudzu ate the South!

It's kudzu

And yeah, the show is pretty amazing.
It kinda makes me want to get in the time machine and punch it forward anywhere from 200-300k years.
That should give current mankind enough time to do itself in, the fallout to clear, and the planet a chance to clean itself up.

I couldn't agree more. I don't know why I find that so fascinating but I would love to see it.

Hell.. I'd want to build a cabin and live off the limitless methane reserves left over from all our garbage!

10 million years from now the super species of cockaroaches will be driving around in their methane cars talking about how the methane is not an unlimited supply and they need to get hybrid methane electric cars

The whole process they use is fun to watch. The buildings start to rust and piece by piece they fall apart until they're covered over by plants. The last ep I saw had a baseball dome collapse, and they were talking about the imprints of the statue of liberty being fossilized in the dirt under water.
