I have to be one of the first people to stand next to the reactor vessel just after shutdown. I am really fucked.

Im super fucked if Davis-Besse goes off while I'm at my lakehouse. There have been many nights I've layed on the beach and watched that tower. The red lights make the steam column all lit up. Kinda cool... and scary at the same time.

Believe me.... I know. I've heard its one of the lowest safety rated plants in the states. I just take the stance that if it ever does go off, i wont know.

Our house is on the east side of Catawba Island so its across the bay on the opposite side of the island. The only time i ever see it is if we boat out north of the island to Put in Bay or if we actually party in PC.

Yes you will, nuke plants don't do nuke bomb explosions. Radiation poisoning is a slow terrible death.
