Default Default Great way to draw attention to a "distracted driver" killing a biker

I know accidents happen, but all too often it is the "distracted driver" hitting an innocent motorcyclist. This is a good local hard-working family, that I am sure is in terrible pain. I thought this was a great way to draw attention, and even if it makes one person look twice it could save another life.

RIP

Caltrans put up "Look for Motorcycists" on the overhead LED signs for one month every year. I think they caused a number of accidents from people trying to read it (Mexicans have a hard time driving let alone trying to read a sign that is not in Espanol).

Ironically enough, that funeral procession would stand to be extremely distracting to other motorists.

Happens way too often. Cars are just evolving into things that only encourage poor driving habits (smart cruise control, self-parking, etc).

"I wasn't paying attention, but thank god my car was..."

That one?

What's next?

"I wasn't paying attention when I ran over that biker, but my car was...it dialed OnStar..."
