It seems like lately I'm really losing enthusiasm for older bikes that need lots of work, and its becoming clearer and clearer that my 750 wont ever be registered because I dont have the enthusiasm or energy to get it on the road.
I'm thinking about just completely leaving the riding world for awhile and buying a brand new fuel injected bike when funding permits, seeing as I want a motard anyhow, its only rational. Besides this, Right now, I'm wanting extra money to buy the samurai for a toy, and have some extra funds to finish putting my truck on the road, since its literally only needing registration and a tag now. |

Buy a DRZ and motard it!
![]() to be honest I never understood the motard craze... until I got my DRZ... fuck this would be a killer bike if it had 50-60hp (they make big bore kits to make it 50-60hp and stock reliable) |

The motard will be later when I have a job and money, neither of which I have presently, so I'm going to have to sacrifice something to get my pickup road legal. I'm fucking SICK of walking bicycling and buses to get me where I need to go. SICK of it.

dude you need reliable transport first in order to secure a job.
sounds like you have a solid plan. get the truck up and going. give bikes a brake for a bit you might enjoy it more when you get the chance to return on your terms. |

I hear ya on old bikes.
Screw carbs. I'm looking forward to a fuel injected bike in my garage. Do you just have the CB or do you have a collection of "work in progress" bikes sitting around? |

I agree. Get something more modern like an 80's bike.
