They're truly a sight to see. It's one of the few things I can remember from when I lived in Alaska. I can't wait to go back to see them someday.

As much as I want to ride my motorcycle to Prudhoe Bay in the summer, I equally as much want to go in the middle of winter JUST to see the Aurora Borealis. I'm not sure if I can talk Carolina into going up there when it's that cold though. She may tell me to go by myself. LOL

We sat up one summer a couple years ago, on the deck, and watched them streaking across the sky around midnight, made a cross, they are amazing. I saw them so much at home as a kid they are "normal" to me
