Only seen them a couple times. Want to go up far north in the winter to REALLY see them.

Where did you see it in the summer?

I think he was referring to the long daylight hours in the summer, not the probability of seeing it.

ahh true...

I saw it in the Denali range... I was up there wheel'n my truck.

but in anchorage you could see it in the summer... just not in the middle of summer...

I studied this in Astronomy recently. It would be great to actually see it in person someday.
