Seems to have started in Japan with some girl who wanted to out do "flying girl", in going viral. If the 'taking pictures of yourself while falling off a balcony' trend takes off, then we'll certainly have dealt with the population pressure issue.

Look, there's always at least one "worst case scenario". You know; the guy that manages to gouge his eye out with something as safe as a spoon.

Even the head of Segway managed to prove that yes; you can kill yourself even on a fucking Segway.

The great irony would be if historically he proves to be the only one.

I think it's pretty safe to say that you can take just about any activity, no matter how inherently safe, and someone, somewhere, eventually will find a way to kill themselves at it.
