Damn, that old lady is feisty. Etta James just got a new fan, I hate Beyonce too.

Let's talk about one of the most unlikely celebrity feuds in all of music, the one that exploded this week between legendary jazz singer Etta James and the woman who played Etta in Cadillac Records, Beyonce. Now, we're not sure if Etta was displeased with Beyonce's portrayal of her in that film, but we are sure that she was unhappy with Beyonce's performance of the classic Etta song "At Last" at Barack Obama's inauguration last month. Etta made her displeasure abundantly clear last Wednesday, when--before performing "At Last" at Seattle's Paramount Theater--she launched into a shocking anti-Beyonce tirade.

"You know that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she's going to get her a** whipped," Etta declared, before she then verbally attacked President Obama himself, referring to him as "your president...the one with the big ears," and adding, "He's not my president." Etta also said she "could not stand" Beyonce.

obama is not half arabic, to be arabic, you have to be from the arabian peninsula. I do not subscribe to the ignorant american philosophy of lumping all people of the islamic faith as arabic. He's half kenyan and therefore more african than most african americans nowadays.

BTW someone needs to tell Etta to shut the fuck up! That song was not written by her and was first performed by Glenn Miller in the 40s. Heck, my Grandma's cousin recorded it in the 50s (Nat King Cole). Etta didn't do her cover of the song until the 60s so she needs to stfu about it being "her song",she didn't write it,wasn't the first to record it and quite frankly, Nat's version is better anyway! Stupid bitch!

My father could have been born in China. Doesn't mean he or I are Asian.

I just remember reading that when it came to his Sub-saharan(What people consider African/black/whatever) ancestory, it's only at 6% or so.
