Interesting site.

I have known a few anti-vaccine-ers.

I didn't think the movement had gained enough traction to warrant an anti-anti-vaccine movement.

Yeh, the diseases that the vaccines prevent are far worse more common than the ones they cause.

A guy I work with was pretty adimant about his kid not getting vaccinated but his wife did it anyway, then the kid got sick for 2 weeks (lost weight, dehydrated, fever etc...) and he put up a huge hissy fit about it. Now his wife is pregnant again and he keeps saying that he will make sure that this one doesn't get vaccinated

we got our daughter vaccinated but we insisted that the vaccines be split up with at least 2 weeks between each.

There is absolutely no scientific proof that vaccines cause autism. In fact the numbers show that they don't. With or without vaccines, your kid has exactly the same chance of being autistic.

The anti-vaccination movement is extremely irresponsible.

If anyone watches Law and Order, they actually had an episode (most of their episodes are based on actual events) regarding the anti vaccine movement. The mother ultimately punished for another babies death was charged because she didnt get her child vaccinated, he got measles, and shared it with all the other children at the park, and one of the children got it and died...

I've never looked into the matter, but I tend to think the health problems people are contributing to vaccines are like ADD, its an excuse for their to be something wrong with their child or for its behavior.

Not always the case I know, but how frequent were things like ADD and autism when you were a child (and we were all vaccinated)?
