The Lost and Damned

So I'm in GameStop today buying Burnout Paradise (which is pretty sweet, but Burnout 3: Takedown still is the best in the series)... Anyway... GTA IV has a new expansion game coming out pretty soon... GTA IV: The Lost and Damned.

Not your ordinary expansion... It's a storyline that runs parallel with the Niko Belic story, but you play as one of the bikers from the gang Niko runs across throughout his missions... The Lost.

I cannot find a whole lot on the game, but I do know it's only $20. I'm kinda excited about it, though there's huge possibility for disappointment. GTA games, more than any other game I've ever picked up, have zero replay value after you beat the campaign. It's kinda cool that there's a cheaper alternative to waiting and buying the next GTA game for $60 or whatever. Then again, it could be short... cheesy... and suck ass. Time will tell, but I'm interested.

I've never gotten into the GTA stuff, it just kinda bores me too quickly, but the expansion looks kind of interesting. Might have to give GTA IV a shot.

I never took to the mission modes. It's all about doing random stupid shit with a few friends and cheat codes.

I love the GTA series and can't wait for the new download. But, I totally agree that the game sucks once the campaign is complete.

It's not a download... it's another disc... Not sure that it's going to be in download format.

could be fun. I always loved goin to the tops of the highest mountain in GTA SA and just driving/riding whatever I brung off the top for fun.
