Note: I'm no expert...I saw a TV show about it. Interviews with the band, heard him sing etc..
He is from the Philippines. S. Perry had medical problems and couldn't work. The band auditioned temp singers to fill in and saw a tape of this guy. It turned out he knew all their songs and sounded great so they hired him. It pissed Steven Perry off so bad that they didn't abandon their tour schedule, that he cut all communication with the band and never came back. This guy sounds so close to the original that if I hadn't been watching I would not have known it wasn't the same singer that we have been listening too forever. Yes, he can sing the music... |
