Yeah but tt is all gas price and market perception. It's summer and the sheep believe the gas prices will soar. So any big vechicle market value will drop hard. But also the small suv's and cars will good mpg. Their market value goes up. It's a tietter totter effect.

This is what I'm hoping for. Need to find a great deal on a F150/F250.

LOL @ $31K for the Jeep Commander. Doesn't that thing use 30 year old tech?

If they use the tech they brought to the arena, its pretty bulletproof. The switch to V-6 engines by Jeep sucks, I have a 3.7 v6 and my Wrangler had a 4.0 H.O. I-6, and the I-6 was bombproof. The suspension tech at jeep is pretty good and proven. Just because its old tech, doesn'y mean its bad. I am still looking for a Jeepster, FC, Scrambler or older CJ to make a toy.

Yeah, that 3.7 in the Wrangler sucks nuts.
They should throw the 3.0L diesel in there, that would really be a machine!

Trying to figure out which is the better deal for myself now.
Buy a new half ton, get better financing and all the perks of "new", or save $5-8k and buy a 5 year old 3/4 ton diesel with miles on it.
I don't necessarily "need" the diesel, but they get better mileage, and I would then have the ability to pull anything I ever wanted...

I hv yet to roll the v-6 jeep yet. but drove plenty of I-6's. Yes they are bullet proof but they are also a slug. No real power band or nuttin. They slug arnd and make lots of noise.

I myself think jeeps suck. The only way I'd ever own one would be with a 4-6" lift, chevy small block and ford 9" rear ends.
