I guarantee its not 90%. Edmonton and calgary alone are 5 million people, and they arent anywhere close to 100 miles from the border. Theres another 1.5+ million in the maratimes that arent that close. Im not sure where they got that number in the vid kell posted.

6.5 million of 35.0 million is 20 percent who dont live near the border, and theres plenty more.

But yes, a lot of our country isnt that hospitable. Thats why we still have wilderness left to explore, hunt, fish, hike, climb, kayak,and ridesleds, dirtbikes and quads in.

Calgary and edmonton put together are closer to 2 million, plus they are the only two major cities in Canada that are farther than 100 miles from a US border(everything in the maritimes except for PEI and NL are within 100 miles)

My numbers were a little off, i just did some googling..

And no, not everything in the maratimes is 100miles or less from a border. Most of NB and all of NS are farther than that. All of PEI and NL, as you said. aside from southwestern nb, we are all more than that from the border.

Come on man, were not talking about teams here. Dont take that out of context. The only reason Canada wiped through everybody was because the roster was chocked full of superstars and captains. Every other team had one or two, but Canada had like fucking 13. Canada was the best fucking team, just amazing!

what do you know, they are the two that count most too.

I watch as much hockey as you do Porkchop, and I've seen them all play. Ovechkin is a showoff goal scorer, nothing more. Crosby works his ass off.. Crosby is the better all around player, any day of the week. Hell, Nash is a better player than Ovechkin. He just needs a team around him.
