I haven't found a need to alter the gearing though. You lower the gearing and you won't keep the front end down. Raise it, and damn... why do you need to go 180 mph? |

If the side scoops were part of a fairing it would look way better! But just floating out there in thin air. Yuck!

Is there a write-up on that somewhere? I've been diggin' the XBs lately, and that kind of torque is definitely an attention getter.

Im surprised an HD dealership would even stoop so low as to service a lowly Buell. I mean, they can't fuckin stand them or the people that ride them... Most HD stealerships around here won't even fly the Buell banner anymore. I think they find them threatening.

Its a shame... Being pro Buell could only make them a stronger more profitable dealership you would think.... But maybe they are worried it cuts into their HD sales or something? Or HD customers are turned away by a dealership that sells HD and Buell or something? I just don't get it.

Buell doesn't have the profit margin of HD. The reason... IMO not as many customers through the door. The reason for this is because they FAIL TO ADVERTISE!! When was the last time you saw an independant dealership advertise for Buell?? Maybe they should try that a bit. My closest dealer is over an hour away, but they treat me decent. They are kinda buell stupid, so badweb is my friend, but they do listen and treat me well so it's all good. |

Buell is only going to get stronger and stronger... HD better recognize and start stepping up the Buell program or they are going to get left in the dust when Buell splits off and goes their own way. HD sales are already shit for the year, you would think that they would be hanging on to ANYTHING that might make its way out their doors.
