BF3 or MW3? - Page 9

i know it must be so sick on a bad ass gaming rig, i just dont have the cash to put down on a machine of that magnitude, for no other purpose but gaming! I need a new PC, but will likely end up with a laptop sometime. hopefully a good that can handle BF3

Dude, you can build a gaming rig that will run BF3 quite well for 600$. I assume you own monitors, cables, mouse/keyboard and junk already. It is super easy to put together your own rig, and much, much cheaper.

I could do alienwares top build (about 4k), for about 16-1800$. Im running an i7 series quad core, and dual HD 6990's, but that is top of the line and not needed. You could get a 560ti for 180$, and a motherboard and processor for anbother 250.

Im sure you can find a 'free' copy of windows as well. Thats more expensive than any of the fucking parts.

I was planning on picking up another one but now that prices have doubled I may srping for an SSD and hope my old hard drives make it through another year.

CPU prices have come down a lot.
Close to top of the line processor can be had for $300 while something that offers just about as much performance can be had for $200.
Hell I picked up a $100 Proc that keeps up with middle to upper tier procs in just about all games I throw at it.

Mobo prices are very reasonable. 100-200 buys you just about anything you could think of.
The stuff that sells for more than that is for people who are addicted to overclocking and benchmarks.
