Watch out for snakes from above too...my hubby was over there and one of the guys they roomed with had a snake fall thru the ceiling of the room, he thought he was dreaming when it hit him, he just rolled over and woke up with it later!

Snakes don't give me the heebie jeebies like the bugs do, but I know what you mean.. we had issues with all sorts of wildlife out there. Freaking crows the size of small dogs...

Ohhh a few years ago we rented a little A frame cottage in Gatlinburg for vacation. One night we are sitting by the fire and I look up into the rafters and there was a snake skin hanging from one!! I never asked the owner if it was planted up there...
