I actually agree with tigger. Equal partners is a nice wording we use to try to make ourselves feel better, it never works out that way. One partner usually bites their tongue better and just accepts the role as submissive. There can only be one dominant.

You guys are still in the doe eyed love phase.
Wait till you enter, "if she fucking does that shit one more time I'm going to jail for murder" phase... Nobody keeps score. The only time I ever bring up paying more is when she gets on my case about some pointless shit. And its not everyday, its rarely even monthly. But, it does happen. I shovelled the driveway twice the other night, and woke up early to shovel the car out to bring her to work. When I picked her up after work, she gave me shit about my snowpants being on the floor since she went to work.. You mean those pants that were outside longer than you were to make sure you could get into work? Ya, they've earned their right to be there. Honestly, she is worth it. I wouldn't be doing it if she wereent. Some of the arguments just don't make sense. I should pay more because I make more? Well then, I will be ending my contract at work ASAP, and taking a minimum wage job with zero stress and even less effort. You have fun carrying our bills... |

Yeah no kidding. Most of my friends are male except for a few girlfriends but they took me a while to develop due to the gossipy judgemental shit that I didn't want to be a part of. Guys make great friends cause they don't care about all that...they just want to go out and drink a few beers and watch the game just like I do.

Depends on what you mean by "worse." Most guys are pretty straight forward about their motivation. You know what you're getting. Most women seem to have been reared on the teachings of Machiavelli. If a guy has ulterior motives when it comes to a friendship with a woman then you'll either find out about them in short order, or he'll just stop coming around. If a woman does, then it could be years before you have a clue what was really on her mind.
I've had several female friends who, while they said that they weren't looking for a relationship with me (which I was fine with, by the way), would still be obviously jealous when I was actually seeing someone. Guys are monomaniacal, and it shows in all aspects of life. Women are multi-taskers, and it shows in all aspects of life.
