Each gram of fat = 7 calories, and each gram of protein = 4 calories. So if my chicken breast contains 22g of protein (= 88 calories), and less than 1 gram of fat (7 calories), then how can "most of the calories come from fat" ? Federal regulations prohibit use of hormones in chicken. Now, if they're still using them, I'm not going to lose sweat over it. Do you lose sweat over the fact that many vegetables contain toxins? For example, there is a little bit of cyanide in apple seeds. And do you really think that farmers ensure that their soil is free of heavy metals, dioxins, and industrial chemicals that might exist? And do you think rainwater is pure these days? How about the tapwater they use for irrigation, there are traces of pharmaceuticals in nearly every city's water supply that can't be filtered out through normal means. I won't read you the book. It's obvious you'd rather win an internet argument than educate yourself. I'm not interested in comparing penis size....I'm quite happy with mine and play with it too often to work out effectively (apparently) I was simply offering up my results and experience. Good luck triple [unsubscribe]

Nobody was questioning your results, it was the ancillary information that was questioned. |

I have an awesome chicken recipe..
3 table spoons of honey. 3 of hot sauce. 2 of worcestershire. Put that sauce over cut up chicken as its about cooked and let the sauce thicken. Its delicious! And the best part is, you can use any honey, worcestershire, or hot sauce you choose. |

yeah but to get the same amount of calories from lettuce vs. meat you would have to eat as much as a rhino.
One thing you are also not mentioning in your "rhino" analogy is that rhinos, horses, zebra etc have HUGE cecum organs (ours is called an appendix and is vertually none existant due to not consuming roughage). These animals as well as rumanant animals use fermentation to digest plant matter and have HUGE bacteria loads in their digestive track and this bacteria is their main source of protein. The roughage just feeds the bacteria.

How does "frozen rob protein levels"?
There are plenty of very lean meats out there, turkey & chicken are nearly zero fat and have tons of protein. Of course if you're comparing it to ground chuck or something it's going to look bad. |
