agree, you dont go out to buy these games for the story, thats just for rainy days when your internet goes out.
i played for 30 mins last night, it was almost exactly like the beta, so i was a little disappointed that there was not much polishing. it might have been the server i was on, but the one karj island map w/ vehicles, a helicopter popped across the sky at a frame rate on par with the LOLCopter.

last night was not quite like the helo incident. also noticed that when I set the brightness to the recommended level , you couldnt see shit. when its cranked up to like 60%, all of sudden i am getting kills on people hiding...

This is the best FPS I have ever played, by a long shot. I preferred BC2 over MW2 or Black Ops, but not enough to say I disliked the others. But BF3 on PC is so far ahead of all those games, I cant imagine ever going back to them.

I'm enjoying it on Xbox...Then again I dont exactly put games on a High pedestal...I play them to get enjoyment not much more than that.
Even for a console the maps are fucking gigantic
