naw... we don't wear our dress blues often... think the last time I wore them was for Honor Guard at Beale AFB 5 years ago. gonna have to wear them a lot in Mississippi though... nothing like a wool suit in 99% humidity

Agree with the wool comment.

Our uniforms are 55% wool base. It sucks when your on a long hike in July in a wool uniform and hot flat hat.

yeah... it's by far the worst... and they're make'n it worse... going to a retro throw back style that just looks like shit...

yeah the Marine's is by far the best... but really I like the army's greens...

Navy
Army
Air Force

And I don't think I know a single guy who would wear his uniform to a bar, no matter what branch he was in. The ONLY time anyone wore it to a bar was the NCO bar right after some special function where they had to be in their dress uniform. Oh, and that special function was held in a "ballroom" in the same building. But since everyone there was military, you certainly weren't wearing it to pick up chicks.
