It's pretty obvious that the average person is capable of doing 10-20 mph more than the current limits. The current limits were set to the lowest common denominator (handicapped or senile people)

Oh for sure! I can't stand it when people complain that the cop "could have let them off" or that "they weren't speeding that bad" or my favorite, "he didn't HAVE to ask me for my paperwork"...

Sorry Derf! The reality is that most of us, except Racer, speed all the time. I could be written a ticket every time I leave the driveway on my bike.

On the other hand, I don't ever think i've heard Racer say he "doesn't speed". So how is that a bad thing?
