Job Vent - Page 5

*sigh*

Im looking folks. Filled out a few applications online today. Hopefully something will bite.

Sadly, this person counts the time on the cards. Needless to say, I am 99.9% sure I've already been gipped time, so I'll be keeping track of my own hours.

Started my log today, advised my poor co worker who takes much more the brunt of "its" rants to do the same. We're both looking.

It wouldnt be so bad if "it" would stay at the other property, but "it" feels the need to come spend afternoons taking personal calls and shopping online. "It" also doesnt see the big deal of working 6 days a week, but seeing as "it" doesnt even work a full day M-F, Im not surprised.

Ironically, I think the reason the other employee gets so much crap is because she's young, lovely and tiny. Boss - think sasquatch.

That's most likely the reason you are getting crap too. Female bosses suck. If they are ugly, they hate you because they are miserable and ugly. If they are pretty, then you are competition.

I am so excited I could SCREAM!!!

I got a a new job!!

Sent my resume into a local city a few weeks ago, didnt think I'd hear anything back at all but got a call Thrusday to come in for an interview, had it Friday, had to run by and sign some paperwork today and I just got the call to tell me its mine if I want it!!

*HAPPY DANCE*

Its a city position, basically a clerk at the local town hall office, same pay as I have now, M-F, 8-5, NO WEEKENDS!!!! (right now I get every other weekend off, but when we work Saturdays, its a 6 day work week, np comp time).

After my year of probation I will be eligible for all the nifty government employee programs (retirement) etc. The boss is a cool gal, not a micromanager, and as long as my job is done, my time is my own.
