Duuuude, killing me. Thats in MD!! Other than the color, looks spectacular. Oh wait, Trip might get angry with me because I HATE Red. And he may not like that I dont think exactly like he does. Red is the worst color ever, it makes me want to run out and stomp baby seals... not. Honestly, as bright as the green they have is, Im kinda digging it. I love the metallic flash. Of course there are a couple in my area, all 6 autos and hard top. I havent researched it, but anyone know off hand if they make the convertible in green? |

No appreciation for what the auto really is man. No appreciation. Or knowledge. And apparently no one knows how to drive a stick anymore. I was actually asked if someone could convert a BIKE into AUTO cuz he couldnt drive manual trans and didnt want to learn.
Like the dude around here driving the Shelby 500 GT, AUTO. And doesnt even know what he's got, just that it "looks" cool. *cry* |

I owned a 4 cylinder piece of crap auto civic for a long time. It was functional, got me from A to B, and got great gas mileage because of my long 50+ mile commute. The truck I own now is auto 4 cylinder. I don't need a stick truck or a MONSTER engine. I don't carry any load or use the truck in a manner that would require more. I buy automobiles that are functional in a price range I can buy without needing a loan. Plus, I don't have to prove my dick is big or that I am "cool." |

Power is all about penis extension and being cool. If you just wanted to get from A to B safely, efficiently, and reliably; there is much more options for that in the lack of power department. Much more reasonably priced as well. You can argue against it all you want, but it will always be an image thing. Last edited by Trip; 06-14-2011 at 02:26 PM.. |

I used to think this lack of control was just when *I* was at the controls. An Ex-GF from Brazil had a Honda Fit. I always felt rather unsafe in it. She had a slushbox in it. Took it to the dealer for service one day, and the dealer gave us a lift home in the shop vehicle; another Fit, this one with a stick. Mind you, the guy drove like a nut, but I was still totally comfortable in the car, and it didn't feel like it was careening out of control, as I had felt with the auto-equipped car. The lack of control was actually palpable from the passenger seat for me.
