Hmm, well personally, if someone is going to post a news item, I'd rather they simply post the link or copy/paste the text. Why would I want to read their selective cliff notes version of it?

I agree.

But this part

That being said, people are different. I have a high tolerance for annoyances and revel in aggravation. If you don't then the ignore feature is an effective way to deal with it.

Of course I don't know if you can read this because I may be on ignore.

Same here.

No one on ignore. Sometimes I find the paranoid and confused posters amusing.

Most of the time, I'm to busy to give much of a shit anymore.

curiosity does not equal caring. I had just seen this quite a few times and was interested in the general opinion.

True but I'm not talking about general or occasional "disagreement"....

Same here, I don't figure that I'm missing all that much.... Seriously, who here would you consider your life somehow less fulfilled without their opinion?

People that just intentionally stir shit up go on ignore. There are some mods on other forums I wish I could have put on ignore, esp in the political sections.

Have you read the Quran? If not, why not? Seriously, do you read EVERY post on every forum that you belong to? Besides, I committed to Rae and Nick, that would no longer engage in personal fights on this forum. A few people here continued to attack me personally and to be frank, the best way to avoid a conflict is to avoid the other person(s)... The name calling and insults would have been too easy bait for me to pass up. It's like an alcoholic avoiding the bar, does that make him a coward? In your eyes maybe but not mine.
