BTW...I just did an oil change, adjusted clutch and checked primary chain tension this evening. First time doing those on this bike.

the problem with the Duc is it's range sucks, and I can't see it being comfortable for more than a couple hours... the 1125r is more upright... and it's range is much better.

Actually no....the shifting was a little sloppy. I had to pull the clutch lever all the way to the bar....after adjustment it's no bubbles no troubles. Primary was within spec so I didn't fuck with it.

buell claims the new relocation of the O2 sensors, new Targeted fuel injectors, updated engine spark and the new maps dramatically improve fuel economy...

True, but with a lil work you can get all the changes (except the swingarm spools ) onto the 08... and still have a 25th anny, and the blue frame/swingarm.
I'm thinking about swapping out headers (thus getting updated O2 placement as well as better heat control) and then getting the new spark and map. Should be up to par. |
