I'm 6'6" with bad knees, and riding supersports is becoming a painful ordeal these days. I'm thinking I need something more real-world oriented like a ZRX1200 or FZ1. You have any recommendations?

Not really. I feel pretty comfortable on my VFR but it still has that bent-knee peg position. I usually have problems on cruisers and standards because my knees are too high on the gas tank and dont fit into the concave areas theire supposed to. I havent tried the ZRX or the Fazer.

I have a friend who is 6’5” and rides an 1150GS. For him it is the only bike he has found that is comfortable for long distances.

I never ask really tall people how tall they are. I just casually walk over and stand next to them to see if I come up past their waist. I'm only 5'1"

See I dont mind that. Especially when Im at a club and short drnk girls come up to my waist and say "Hey! I dont even have to get on my knees."
