Have you tried a really really hot bath or shower to relax the muscles? Or take a tennis ball and place it between the muscle and a wall and use the pressure and movement as a cheapo massage?

My shipping manager tried to do a semi massage this morning but the slightest pressure hurt to much and I had to tell him to stop. I have a rice sock at work that I heated up and had on my shoulder most of the day but its more at the lower part of my shoulder blade so it really couldn't get to where it hurts the most. I've just been dealing with it mostly.
