The loggers and the GSM still pisses me off. Made me remember that sign on the Skyway that describes how they cut down the old forest for as far as you can see. That is is! When I was stationed in the Smokies the history was amazing. Wish I had a scanner I've got some amazing pics, maps and copies of documents from that time in history. It's crazy and very interesting some of the stuff that happens. As a former Ranger there I got a birds eye view of the 75th celebration. Amazing!! This year is the Parkways anniversary should be fun!

This show really makes me want to be a ranger, if it paid more and was actually stable I would have wanted to do it. There was one ranger that I met in Denali that really made me to be one, then I grew up and learned about money.

I know shows like this makes it look more glamorous than you guys have it, but there is no reason in the world for you guys not to be proud of what ya'll do for the parks.

Aww thanks! I am very proud of what I do and very proud to say that I'm a Ranger. All the things above are so true. Because of the new baby I am having to reconsider my career choice, namely I now have to have insurance, so I may not be with the NPS much longer but I will hate to leave a job I love so much. It truly is my dream job!

I watched about 5 seconds of this show, then wife saw a B&W pic and promptly turned it. Couldn't get her to keep it on.

that show was awesome last night, dude's visited all 58 parks and his pics were jaw dropping.....

didn't know the rockerfellas were so "important" to the parks.

You guys are weak, the wife does not get control of the man room TV, unless I am not paying attention, when there is something I want to watch on. I told her to buy her own TV if she wants to watch HD all the time and to pay for the HD box to get the channels, until then I paid for the TV and HD, so Jon and Kate can go to hell.

Hey we have 5 TV's but only one DVR and she had dvr'd her show the night before and got to the TV first...'when I wasn't paying attentio'.

Oh well...it's still there for me to watch.

I control the TV most Saturday's and Sunday's with football so it works out.

Oh yeah...she paid for the 46" Samsung HDTV.
