Ah god, expensive time pieces. I'm a luddite with no taste and can't tell the difference between the expensive and the cheaper shit. If it's got a gimmick, that's about all I need.
and work for me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbLITIynCgA Jaeger Lecoultre gyrotourbillon movement. Now THAT is a fine watch. I dont know what this watch cost but I'd bet it's over $100,000. |

Now if you want the Desmosedici RR or MV Agusta of watches, here you go:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2lT8yhwP2Y It uses 13 toothed drive belts instead of a gear driven transmission. Price? $100,000

Bah. Amateur watches. For a cool half mil you can have a watch that will maintain its accuracy in extreme gravity.

That Monaco is badass!!! I have a Tag Heuer Carrera chronograph. I've allways liked Tags even though some in the watch world dont think very highly of them.
You have to give them credit. When swatch pulled back production of their ETA movements Tag was ready with all new in house designs. Only problem is their prices have gone way up with the new product line. $5k for a Grand Carerra Chronograph is more then I'm willing to spend on a Tag. I'll buy a Panny, or any # of other watches that hold their value better then Tag for that much cash. |

When I raced R/C cars I knew a guy who bought 2 Presidential Rolex watches. Owned a company and made big money obviously. He told me they didn't keep time worth a shit. He always wore some $20 Walmart digital watch.
