Ah, so that explains why your wife is pissed off.

yeah, that was one of them.
I don't know her boyfriend didn't have a problem with it. Of course he wound up getting a bike out of it because she enjoyed riding.

Well my question has now been absolved.

Im with Gas, check with manufacturer...

As for getting that unexpected ride, PLEASE carry gear as well as a helmet. I will never forget the night a buddy picked a girl up. She looked so cute in her flip flops, itty bitty cotton shorts and tank top, but she had a HELMET!! I couldnt ride behind them, I cringed every time I saw her that night. *shudder*

So does allowing your married guy rider friend to ride you bike with you on back.

I guess she didn't like it because I offered my bike for him to ride (with the condition I rode 2up) while his bike was out of commission so he could ride? Oops.

It's not like I randonly hop on the back of the bike with someone.

I keep jeans/shoes in the car in case I need a change of clothes. I've had opportunities to ride when not excepted... like a co-worker brought their new bike to work and told me I could take it for a spin. Or a friend needed help getting their bike to the shop for service. Stuff like that.

Just had the thought of keeping my extra helmet and gloves in the car. I won't ride without my gear.

That makes more sense than what I interrupted...

OK. So I looked on Suomy's website, since that the brand I have.

It states "Do not keep the helmet inside a car or trunk. The high temperatures and vibrations of the car might damage it."

Very last warning - http://www.suomy.com/warning.html
