Tomorrow is going to be another long day on the bike, but all slab this time. My poor knees won't take any more abuse. I'll post pics (and vids) when I get the rest of the way home.
That happened to me a couple of times yesterday, kinda nodded off for a sec, I would just pull over stretch out for a few minutes and get back on the road and it made a world of difference.

Goit home last night at 2030 or so. I was nodding too, puled over more than I usually would. Although I would have had to anyway, for some reason when I hit shitville my bike started getting between 30 and 35 to the gallon. That's worse than on the way up when I had more weight!

Phenix, don't mess around, if you get tired pull over. And the slab is hypnotizing, so be careful.

Yeah- that sucked. 10 hours of slab today to get the rest of the way home. For a while I was stopping about every 20 miles to stretch and snap a few pictures. Once I pulled over at a rest stop and took a nap on a picnic table

I rode 18 hours yesterday but only racked up about 700 miles. 500 of it was slab.

I texted alot of people when I stopped for gas. Mainly Eric so in case he didn't hear from me in a while, he'd know about where to start looking. He knew my route and planned stops.

I ran into some rain. I hit a couple of heavy spots and pulled off. Then got a light rain that caused alot of bad fog on the road with very little visibility. That's when baby bambi decided to walk out in front of me. I barely missed that damn deer!
