It's so the mods don't go insane with the ads they are going to put on there. Go take a look at twowheelforum.com / 600rr.net / every other board they have taken over. The ads make you want to kill yourself.

they have adds between posts. all over the page. even in the posts themselves. its like trying to talk to somebody, but at the same time taking a porno magazine up to your face and flipping through the pages.

The notice said nothing about a 'portion', but as I've said in previous posts I'm rather jaded when it comes to these guys. I had a few bucks put by and was looking to send some more in around the time that the site was pulled down. I'm waiting for one of the people who is looking into it to confirm a home address for them.

You don't pay for it if you are a mod. They graciously gave us premium accounts at TWF to encourage us to stick around because we didn't have ads.
