Fuck - I thought the thread title said "Elvis vs AMJ" - I came in here looking for some throw-down fight between Jesus and Elvis.

I want my money back.

Seconded.

Seriously, had Jackson had any hit songs in the past decade? He was an "era hit", like the Bee Gees.

Oh yeah...forgot about him. Well I guess he is in nascar world. I do live right in the heart of it too. Not my favorite type of racing but living here and knowing people in the business it's hard not to keep up with it I must admit.

I haven't seen too many "Richard impersonators" so Elvis >>> Richard too !!

Uhhhh... People do the elvis hip stuff all the time when his music comes on.

MJ is no elvis, the only thing in music bigger than the king is the beatles...

Aside from stuff he did in the late 70's, early 80's, MJ hasnt done anything too spectacular. After that, he sold records on name alone..

My 2 cents is that MJ lived during the information and technology ERA, I see him as a World ICON, foreign countries were able to follow his every move through mass worldwide media.

I think MJ is known in more foreign countries.
