thanks
I was working in a dealership, they had several in storage that nobody knew how long they had been there.

if you are friendly with your parts manager you might be able to pick one up pretty cheap if they have them.

I might end up doing something similar once I get a tailpack. I'm looking to start some sport touring on my bike and think it will work out fairly well for me. I never carry passengers, so don't need my seat for anything. I'm going to go ahead and leave the cowl looking pretty like it does now, not having holes through it.

Yea, this is an extra. A new white cowl came with my body kit.

Here's the tail bag on the bike...went and did a little shopping.

Oh something I forgot to mention but one of the best things about my set-up is if I use a small lock to lock the zippers together, I don't have to worry about leaving the bag on the bike for a little while.

My tail bag would only go on my bike if I had the passenger seat on. With the seat cowl on there was no room for a strap to fit underneath it. Besides that I didn't want to run the risk in scratching the seat cowl.

For the record, this bag comes with a huge neoprene mat that velcros to the bottom of the bag. It stops it from slipping and provides paint protection as well.

Hey Tig, what size is your bag? Mine's about the same size. Have you had a chance to pack it full yet? If so, how much were you able to stuff in there? I'm still trying to gather my crap together for the rally. Mini-Me has taken off with some of my clothes to her dad's and I need them so I'm trying to get those back. She's always stealing my clothes. Grr...
