At any rate, my bike slid from the inside of the lane to the outside, caught hard, and tank slappered my Ulysses down into the ditch on the right. I rode it out quite a ways before the bike finally bucked me off. Fortunately there were a bunch of people with me, and we were able to push it back up onto the pavement. I rode away with a broken turn signal, a broken driving light, and a cracked hand guard.
Wow sounds like you had a hell of a day too. Yesterday was just ugly for lots of us. hahaha

Wow Alex I'm glad you and everyone else involved is alright! Sucks about the bikes, but they can be repaired or replaced. Important thing is that all you guys are A-OK!

That's exactly the thing I'm always scared of up in the mountains this time of year.... crap on the roads. I haven't been up that way in a couple of months now, and will probably hold off until it warms up some just so the roads clear off a little bit

Let me know if you need any help with the bike repairs..... you got my #

Thanks Jared. For the most part all of this was caused by going a bit wide on the road but on some of the other roads there were certainly hazards to be worried about.

My buddy is going to look over his bike and see what needs to be fixed, mine looks to be fine but now she is all scratched up. Thats ok, meant to be ridden not admired. At least she is broken in for my long ass road trip I am hoping to take.

I will let you know if I run into anything.

Ahhhh shit! But to be honest, whether running into a problem or a street sign I would let him and everyone else know.

How do I get rid of the bad juju I just set upon myself?

Same here...I don't get my bike out in the winter. Just too much garbage on the road. I really want to ride on the days it nice out...but I resist.
