Check out the Pilot Road 2ct as well. It has the Pilot Power side rubber with the pilot road center compound. Great stick in the corners and long life, I have a few friends who ride on them.

Actually I'm sporting a Pilot Road 2 on the rear. Pilot 2ct on the front. When the front wears out in about a 1,000 miles or so I'll get the PR 2 to see how it does. If I'm not happy after those I'll get another tire. But it should be a good test for the PR2 since I commute daily on my bike but I also hit the mountains on it too.

Ive heard from quite a few people that the road 2 front isnt that great for twisties. You may be better off with just a standard pilot power.

Good point. I think it's harder to heat up the entire tire with the PR2s compound being harder in the middle. But maybe the life of the PP/2ct front will be roughly the same as the Pilot Road 2 rear.

A lot of guys on my bike specific forum run 160 or 170 pr2 rears with pp fronts and because of fronts naturally wearing easier the softer front wears pretty similar to the harder rear. Ive yet to try it and with the season ending up here Ill have to wait til spring to give it a shot.
