the processor is a 600mhz... Motorola under clocked it to 550... some nuts have them running at 1.3ghz!

but now with the phone at 250mhz at night... I can go 3 days with out charging if I only use it for calls now and again...
What a lot of reviewers seem to want to ignore is that there are several ways to extend the life of your battery. Turning off WiFi and BT when not in use, plus my dumb ass bought both the car dock and the desk dock for my phone so who cares about battery life?

yup... also GPS will help too... and turning your screen to 50% rather than 100%

that's what kills my battery the most... the fucking screen!

Shut down sync and background access, you'd be amazed how much juice it saves. I use the shit out of the stock power control widget

Hard to say because o don't know if the performance is because of the root and overclocking or because of froyo... I love the phone but there are some glitches and I have to reload the kernel from time to time... but that takes less than a min now that I'm rooted

Think I'll go to the official Froyo when it comes out... and wait for the root again

I went to Raleigh yesterday and we did a 4G test. My phone had 3G. At least 3x faster! Pandora started in about 2 secs, web pages in split seconds, etc. Of course, considering the fact that 4G is in so few areas, I'm not going to run out and get one yet but it's pretty amazing when you have it.

I think that has more to do with how fast the phone itself is, not necessarily the network. My Incredible on 3G loads Pandora instantly for example.

I wish they would release a linux version of my car tuner software so I can do all my logging and fuel map adjustments with my phone.

I can't wait to be nerd wearing one of these though...

It's not officially out but for some nexus one owners. People have rooted their phones to get admin rights to install a rom that has been modded together to get it though.
