Many years ago when the Oddessy first came out, leather was not an option. It kind of turned me off on Honda. I know they offer it now but... it just rubbed me wrong and I haven't been able to get passed it.

The Oddessy first came out as a small "van" in 1995 and was pretty cheap. They have REALLY come a long way. I really enjoy driving their new one. The thing is pretty damn fast and quiet. Back seat folds into the floor so there is tons of room. They got the leather option (white ext, tan int.) and it really is a pretty car. Good gas milage compared to an SUV as well.

idk, my sisters minivan gets around 17 mpg, 20 on a long trip if you keep it under 70 mph.
There are SUV's that will get similar mileage, and give the benefit of higher ground clearance, AWD/4WD, and towing capacity.

I owned a Chrysler T&C for a while and the mileage was shitty. Around 15mpg city. After 2 blown transmissions before 36K miles I got rid of it soon after the factory warranty expired ans swore off Chrysler forever although I did end up getting a Jeep GC and that had transmission issues as well. Go figure. I'll never own a Chrysler product again even if they were giving them away.

My parents Odyssey gets about 25 on the interstate. She's too cool for a van so no reason to push one anymore.

Have you considered the Subaru Tribeca? 7 passengers, AWD and you can can tow up to 3,500 lbs properally setup.

MPG is not bad either. Mid to low 20's.

3500lbs towing is a stretch for me. 4000 is what I need to be comfortable.
