I started in 1973, and I know plenty of 55 plus people, who still light up on occasion. Smoked a bowl with one last night... As for it, "not being accepted by the general public", only total squares have a problem with it, as long as you can keep your shit together. JC

When you are older, a drink here and here is still accepted.

Dude, you live in Cali, where the Weed Walmart just opened, so where the fuck do you come up with "Not Accepted"? There seems to be a whole lot of acceptance where you live, Homie. (Don't take this the wrong way, but you really should go outside more often) JC

I understand your point. I am only 20, so I am still in the young, having fun stage of life. I do know quite a few older people who smoke though. A ton in the 30-40 crowd and a few who are 50+.
Drinking is more acceptable, only because of the crowd who has never tried it and thinks it is horrible just because it is illegal. |

Spoken like a true pot head. lol
Most people smoke weed to get high. Then, eventually they look for more (E, coke etc. etc.) I understand it is not the actual drug (mj), but when someone uses a drug to feel good, they subsequently seem to want more. Its like riding a motorcycle fast on the track. You are always looking to go faster and faster.

I agree with you there is little to no evidence that smoking weed drives someone to do harder drugs. But...research has shown that when people do something to feel good, they tend to want more of it.
