Its just too bad those that hate her feel some kind of compelling need to analyze everything she says and does like its the Zapruder film. Its like the story (that may be apocryphal) about Howard Stern when he was on terrestrial radio that people who hated him listened far more than those that liked him. Palin gets paid because she brings in an audience, and it doesn't matter if that audience loves her or hates her.

You are assuming the people who hate her are buying her books, or buying tickets to see her speak. I don't see Avatard doing that. All he might do is click on a CNN article about her. She doesn't get paid for that.

All those stories keep her relevant... she'd sell books and be booked to speak regardless, but it's these stories that drive her fame... That shit goes away and book sales drop... speaking engagements fall off... and soon enough, nobody's talking about her.

She sells books and she sells tickets because she is always in the public consciousness. I wouldn't be at all surprised if a majority of people learned she had a book out from the media's seemingly constant need to talk about the stupid things she says in it. Part of selling that book and those tickets is her fans. Another part of it is exposure, and she gets more of that than practically anyone.

What is a shame is that the media and pop culture in America do pay this much attention to shit that doesnt matter, while the economy, SSI, unemployment, healthcare, ect all take a back seat to who did what to whom...And just when it dies down, one party fans the flames to try and discredit the other whithout coming up with one decent way to return to our proud beginnings as an actual republic.

And all the fanfare over who did what to whom is to keep the public from diving in too deep to all the stuff that truly matters. But they want to keep their jobs, so there's all sorts of other crap to keep us entertained so we don't dive into learning the truth about the things that really matter.
