Im sorry... (not a post Dell Alienware fan)

Anyways unfortunately PC gaming has taken a back seat in developers minds to consoles so most the stuff you see on PCs today are actually ports from consoles (I miss the good ole days when it was the other way around). However this means you can play a lot of the good console games with a mouse and keyboard the way god ment it to be . I personally am waiting for Starcraft II.

GSXR. Same thing.

COD MW1. I also recommend Call of Duty 1 (also two expansion) and 2. The second one is an awesome classic now. World at War wasn't bad.

L4D 1 & 2 (2 not out just yet)

Crysis and the expansion

Fallout Tres

ALL Half Life series. I'm talking starting all the way back at numero uno. Man I cant wait till Half Life 2: Episode 3 comes out.

Rainbow 6: Las Vegas 1 & 2

Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway (should be 10 dolla)

Far Cry 2 (Havent ever finished 1..................or 2 LOL)

Unreal Tournament 3

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 1 & 2 (Its a pretty big game. Havent finished)

Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 1 & 2. These two will make you cry in pain.

Bioshock

Quake 4

Doom 3

I agree that HL is a must play and as said above if you haven't played before start with the original the storyline is what makes the game great. I thought Doom 3 was a bit of a let down though.

most of the old PC games arent worth playing anymore because nobody plays them online.

BF2 was fucking awesome though.

diablo II was amazing, still is. i cant wait for III to come out, i will get a new PC for that. i will guarantee there are still people playing that too

I still play BF2 on a regular basis. The squad setup with that game was timeless. PLenty of good servers still up for it. I know we talked about this before but we should really get on some infantry only action sometime...

Do people still play Counter-Strike? I used to play before everything went to Stream, and a little afterward. Haven't played in years though.
