In their opinion, Flash is "irrelevant".........i.e. they're too aloof to bother with it

Too bad it's really cause it's out of their control that is the real issue. It's about control, that's all.

see Z was the opposite, she hated apple mostly cuz of the cult status. but since getting per ipad, she really likes it. it's the only apple product we have.

is it as capable as a laptop, no, but then if we need all the capabilities of a laptop we bring it.

is it more portable and quicker to use then a laptop, yup. just click the lil button and it lights up vs sleep mode or off entirely and booting up a laptop.

I thought you and Z have iPods? Pretty sure you've mentioned it before.

I'm an iPhone user, and like it a lot.

That said, I'd buy a Windows netbook over an iPad any day of the week. It's less expensive and more capable.

Even a high end netbook will be quite a bit less than an iPad.

nope, no ipods, no itouch's, no apple desktop. she has a few mp3's (that she doesn't use anymore), and i use my phone (not iphone) as an mp3. dell desktop and gateway (full sized) laptop. and she has some sprint droid phone, i have smart phone but not droid nor apple.

why have a netbook and a laptop, IMO those 2 are the same
