i gotta say icon makes a very good product and am very happy with the way the jacket held up and the my shark helmet "UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE" and my spidi race vent gloves...not a scratch on them.

estimated speed of impact was about 40-45mph...speed limit was 40

and yes it was her fault
I'm glad you're ok!! Curious: how do you have full gear AND rash?

he got rash through his jeans, and some on his lower back.

For as bad as his bike looks, he is so friggin lucky.

Not to hijack but if he had jeans on, he wasn't in full gear. Very misleading. Or a very different definition of full gear. I will start a new thread...

That's pretty much full gear here in south florida. We only wear leathers at the Gap or the track.

Eh, Everyone is going to have an opinion on the matter one way or another.

Your alive thats all that matters...They make riding jeans with kevlar reinforced knees and ass and I would consider them to be "gear"...But I ride in jeans basically all the time...B/c Like you said...wearing a full or even two peice leather suit to go out can be tedious.

But in retrospect it protects your skin and body incase you do go down...So the argument can be had for ages.

plusone

If I'm going on a "ride" I'll wear a suit, but not if I'm just going to work.
