Grew up in KS, and I miss the weather. I'd definitely be outside watching when the sirens went off. Shoot, if you don't get out there quick, you miss the spooky green sky and hail.

I'm one of the crazy bastards running to the window or outside too. I only saw the sky go green twice though, and that was in Jersey. That's probably why I ran out now that I think about it, I mean how often does Jersey get tornados? I had to see!

I live in SW Missouri. Only about an hour and a half from arkansas or oklahoma. Ozark Mtns ftw. In rolla, they were having 70 mph winds with no tornados or anything around 10. Springfield only had 40 or so.

Man, isn't that what we did when we were getting tires mounted a few yrs ago up there? The greenish color of the clouds was pretty crazy!

Tornadoes are for pussies! Try living with the looming danger of instantaneous natural disasters. At least with tornadoes you get a heads' up.
