Nice video... Looks solid. According to the company's website you can get a bike specific diagram for the ignition stuff. My alarm does not flash the turn signals or talk....hmmmm... $40 you say....

Sounds like the install isn't much different than a scorpio. Other than when you order the scorpio you simply order the wiring for your bike and makes the basics plug n play.
the blinkers flashing front & rear depends on the bike and how the blinkers are wired. It won't always work both. I have expierenced this before. granted you pay more for the scorpio but it will also have the built in battery back up (if needed), and the 2 way pager. Otherwise, it sure sounds like a solid deal. On the ignition kill... you can also just do a start inhibit by tapping via a safety switch (kickstand or clutch) or tap between the standard switch wire to the starter (which is what I did on my scorpio). These of coarse may not give you a anti-hijack it will just stop them from starting it...
But think outside the box when considering where to tap into. If your kick stand switch keeps you from starting it, and kills the bike when in gear. Then it would do exactly what you want. |
