But snow isn't the problem. See...here we get more ICE than anything. Think: deals gap covered in ice!

I live at the top of a hill in an area called lake hills. My street is a destination for sledders. We don't have mountains because the elitist NYC snobs said they blocked the view of the ocean and had them removed. True story Last edited by pauldun170; 02-25-2013 at 06:22 PM.. |

Real true story: Adirondack Park in upstate NY is bigger than Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon and the Great Smokies National Parks combined. |

Did some camping and mountain-biking in the Adirondacks back in 95. We stayed near Old Forge (I think that was the name) nice little tourist trap. Beautiful country!

We've got hills. No mountains. We do have something that you might be unfamiliar with. It's called 'traffic.'

We got about a foot of snow (with winds that cause a complete white out) just about every weekend this month. Plus smaller snowfalls in between. A couple of hours north, where my parents live, they got over 2 feet in one of those weekend storms.
...I'm sure you can see how it's tough to feel sorry.
