Hanging yourself where you have the ability to stand up and holding your legs up until you die? Now that's commitment.

I was really hoping they had more evidence than that, it'd be easy for someone to hold his legs up behind him (IMO more likely than suicide). But having told someone about his plans and recently taking out 2 big life insurance policies... how did he expect to get away with that?

By playing on rural anti-government sentiment and setting it up in a way that makes it look like murder. He would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling kids and their dog! (or the cops)

Don't worry about that. The argument will be made that hate filled right wing talk radio (and the stupid Southerners that listen to it) created an atmosphere where this guy thought people would believe it was murder.
