The chopper use to be gold for them. They could find the japs quick with it. This season the bob barker got lucky and found them.

Exactly! If I found out that the Japs were in on it this season, I wouldn't be surprised. Heck, there's got to be more money in this than whaling... Btw is there really only one whale processing ship in the entire world?

Apparently, they're concerned with losing the "moral high ground"... One of the crew suggested using a harpoon gun-like weapon but the Capt dismissed the notion for that reason.

for the japs, only one I have found when I searched for the same thing. This is because whaling is internationally illegal for commercial purposes. Whaling for "scientific" purposes is legal. Which is what Japan and Norway say they are doing even though the research they need can be obtained in nonlethal fashion.

Pete Buthune is no longer associated with them because he brought along that bow and arrow on the ady gil. They were pissed when they found out about it.
