Ya, well this guy will be eatin in the chow hall everyday now!!! He already lives in the dorms... I saw a gsxf 500 for 5000 brand new thats like 7 grand cheaper, not to mention the insurance....

actually isn't the busa cheap for insurance? someone was telling me that the GSXR1000 was like 100 more a month for them than the busa was... cause the busa with some companies is classified as a sport tourer not a super sport.

oh well.... hopefully you can get through to the kid... and if he want's a busa... he'll put it off a couple years...

Great, flushed the cooling system today, put in engine ice. finally got my flush mounts on, new windscreen. Thinking bout changin the sprockets and chain, maybe -1 +2.... went down to the new "performance" bike shop that opened while I was gone.. I'm here, just had to go cover the bike.

Insurance cost will vary by state and ins company.
the busa was a grand more than a 1000 cc bike for me

UPDATE!!! After talking to this guy we convinced him into buying a smaller cheaper bike.. I went to the stealership with him and we talked to the sales manager... The kid got a gsxf 500, out the door 5500. he got his 1000 deposit back, so he can buy some gear and other shit he wants... I rode it back to his dorm for him.. Glad I was able to make him see the light.....
